As an International Product Growth Manager you will be the internal advocate for users world-wide ensuring Facebook feels local for everyone around the world. It involves working with a wide range of product ambassadors across the globe and internal engineering teams to adapt and improve the Facebook family of apps. The ideal candidate is passionate about international market success and has significant experience in consumer and mobile technology.
Partner with product ambassadors around the globe to identify impactful local insights
Partner with the analytics organization to validate key local insights with data
Leverage these local insights to highlight product gaps, identify growth opportunities, and drive execution of growth initiatives with internal product teams
Ensure the Facebook family of apps is fully functional and well adapted to be successful in every country
Design and oversee local execution of continuous testing plans for critical end-to-end flows
Track progress of market specific product improvements and measure their impact
Leverage usability studies, research and market analysis to drive market specific product insights to execution
Understand Facebook’s strategic and competitive position in international markets and work to improve it
Requirements
6+ years product development and/or business development experience
Experienced with growth marketing or product management at a global scale
Experience with social products, technologies and platforms is strongly desired
Experience working in startups or successful entrepreneurial adventures and working in a global environment highly desired
Extensive knowledge of online and mobile business models and consumer technology
Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized, hands-on
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Self-driven, comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous environment
Exceptional communications and interpersonal skills in English
Fluency in an additional language strongly desired
Understanding of the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable web and mobile applications
BA/BS in Computer Science, engineering or related technical field or equivalent working experience
