Director Training Delivery ADP Florham Park

Sets the division strategy for the delivery of training across the organization (web based, instructor led, self study, etc.). Directs the delivery of division-wide Service training curricula for new associates and Service leadership. Directs the delivery of Client training. Consults with field and division leaders around training needs and effectiveness.
Accountable to set the strategy and for the implementation and administration of division-wide assessments. Makes recommendations regarding future training content.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directs the development and execution of training delivery plans in accordance with organizational goals for Associate. Consults with senior field and division leaders to determine organizational training needs. Keeps constituent groups informed as to delivery status and issues.
Directs the implementation and administration of division-wide assessments for new and tenured associates. Together with Human Resources, ensures program compliance. Communicates issues and non-compliance to senior leadership team.
Creates a high performance team environment that supports/reinforces associate development and retention. Provides periodic performance feedback and conducts annual performance reviews. Responsible for recruitment, selection, hiring, compensation management, and performance management of the Training Delivery staff. Determines the function's training requirements. Ensures timely and effective training is delivered to enhance skills of the team.
Acts as a strategic partner and consultant on cross-functional teams and special projects as needed. Influences senior field and division leaders to ensure appropriate performance based learning objectives and outcomes.
Directs the distribution of work across the Training Delivery team to best utilize resources and skill sets while meeting priorities.
Evaluates and provides feedback to the Training Design group on instructional materials.
Provides input into the overall Service Training budget. Responsible for vendor management and contract negotiation.
Develops and delivers specialized, customized training as needed (leadership, trainer delivery skills, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 6-8 years

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

Bachelor's Degree in Training, Instructional Design, Psychology, Human Resources, or related field is required.
Insurance experience preferred.
6-8 yearsexperience in the client service industry with demonstrated expertise in adult learning principles, development and training techniques, and project management skills. Prior experience managing exempt-level associates is also required.
Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills are required including the ability to communicate with all levels of leadership.
Demonstrated technical knowledge of PCs and PC-related software packages (MS Office, LearningEdge, etc.).
Ability to effectively manage a virtual team.
