Warner Bros. Int’l Television Distribution Inc (ITVD) seeks a Director, Marketing APAC (Asia-Pacific) for the ITVD Marketing department. The key purpose for this role is to lead the local APAC offices with program sales support, promotions and programming initiatives, ensuring it continues to deliver a high level of client service, strong support for internal local and global stakeholders, flawless execution and high awareness of our programs and products through multi channels and mediums.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive APAC implementation of year-round marketing campaigns, programming packages and cross-divisional initiatives on key brands such as DC and Harry Potter, across prime-time, strip series, feature film packages, library series deals and animation.
Point person for marketing approvals for the APAC region; develop deep understanding of the business landscape for each APAC territory.
Develop plans with clients / broadcasters to exploit growth opportunities and help generate added revenue streams through the use of WB materials, designing contests and PR activities throughout APAC territories.
Proactively work with local sales and marketing executives to provide pre- and post-sales support / materials.
Work with Burbank marketing team to develop innovative new initiatives for APAC, including consumer contests and “stunts”, enabling client sales teams to sell-in multi-level promotions, covering everything from on-air to online to social networking. Proactive involvement to enhance the offering that broadcasters are pitching to advertisers.
Direct local APAC marketing teams to assist in all aspects of client marketing campaigns—strategic planning, customer needs analysis, project management.
Lead the development and implementation of CAPLA-wide and Worldwide initiatives as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree in Business / Commerce / Marketing / Mass Media or related field required.
A minimum of 6+ years marketing and / or relevant industry experience required.
Minimum 2 years international (APAC) marketing experience strongly preferred.
Proven leadership and team building abilities to create a positive, supportive work environment.
Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.
Ability to collaborate and build positive relationships with clients quickly.
Creativity: Sharp and innovative in a high pressure, deadline-sensitive environment.
Critical thinker with the ability to cut through information and focus on relevant details to facilitate problem solving.
Must be able to Travel (approximately 20%).
