Director Global Brand Service Nike+ App Nike Portland

The Global Brand Service team is looking for a highly motivated Global Brand Director to lead the branding and marketing of the new Nike+ App across all relevant and valuable marketing channels. With this role, you will be joining a new team that is shaping the future of service for the Nike Brand.
In this role, you will be responsible for the service proposition of the Nike+ app and the marketing strategies and plans that will bring the proposition to life. You’ll work with functional experts to craft consumer and member journeys across a number of brand experiences, obsess where and how the Nike+ App is inserted in these journeys, and lead creative teams to create seasonal branding, content and assets to power the consumer experience. You’ll join science and creativity in new ways to delight consumers, members and partners, working with cross-functional teams to make it happen. In this role, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future roadmap of the Nike+ App to deliver the best, most personal service to consumers and members around the world.

To facilitate consistency of approach and implementation of best practices the role will report directly to the Senior Director, Global Brand Service- Service Marketing and will partner closely with the Senior Director, Global Brand Service - Product Marketing.

Responsibilities:

Define and lead the 365 Nike+ app service proposition in partnership with Nike+ category, app and product leads

Partner closely with the Nike+ app product management team and inform product briefs and digital roadmap priorities based on consumer insight and brand goals

Define and lead seasonal gameplan deliverables and concept map planning for the Nike+ App

Create Nike+ app marketing strategies inclusive of all relevant channels with the goals of acquiring and serving Nike+ members through the Nike+ app

Lead the development of strategic marketing plans, creative briefs, and directives both 365 and seasonally to be executed in relevant Geos

Inform a content strategy and work with Category partners to prioritize stories featured in the Nike+ App

Oversee Nike+ app success metrics and ongoing reporting by Category and Geo in partnership with Global Consumer Knowledge

Deliver ongoing product marketing analysis, making recommendations to continually refine marketing strategies around user acquisition, engagement, and retention

Regularly partner, present and report to leadership and stakeholders on marketing strategies, plans, and findings

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree plus a minimum 8+ years' related experience. 2 additional years' experience in lieu of degree

Experience in a marketing or digital product leadership role

Experience in all major areas of marketing, including mobile, online and offline, brand and product marketing, search, social media, email, in-app push

Strong strategic mindset and approach - must have the confidence and expertise to shape strategy and drive key decisions across consumer, brand and business dimensions

Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration, and a proven track record of delivering results.

Ability to move at the pace the consumer demands and enjoy having many projects going at once. Can change course, be scrappy, and still deliver.

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong project management, interpersonal and leadership skills
