Provide insight into TOP Developer Community operating strategy, analysis of the mainstream developer community, provide the strategic planning and competitiveness recommendation;
Coordinate and execute both online and offline outreach and support programs. Give keynotes at Huawei events ,present at internal and external developer conferences and other events globally, promoting Huawei Developer community, and to attract developers to focus on the Huawei developer community and enhance the global user base;
Manage relationships with developer communities, both formal (Huawei Developer Groups) and informal (discussion boards, casual meet-ups, non-affiliated user groups); Meet with developers and businesses, promoting Huawei technologies to them.
Create momentum and drive the success of Huawei’s developer products and the open web through interactions with developers building applications and businesses on Huawei’s platforms.
Advocate for developers internally, and influence Huawei developer product strategy by working with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements
BA/BS in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
5 years of relevant work experience, or 3 years of technical/developer communities work experience;
Familiar with the community, SNS and other interactive products, architecture and operational methods, and long-term use, familiar with the Internet community culture, possess a wealth of online and offline activities with planning experience;
Experience as a software developer, architect, technology advocate, CTO, or consultant working with web or mobile technologies.
Programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, .NET, PHP, Python, Ruby, JavaScript.
Preferred
Experience blogging and writing technical articles, e.g. with an existing follower base, as well as experience working directly with press and bloggers;
Strong command of web application or mobile application development landscapes.
Considerable success as a software developer, architect, technology advocate, CTO, or consultant working with web or mobile technologies.
Ability to work as individual contributor and to contribute as part of a larger team.
