Director Business Consultants ADP Chicago

ADP is hiring a Director - Business Consultants. This person will directs a territory's sales consultant organization. Establishes effective communications with appropriate sales management to ensure proper sensitivity to sales consultant support needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directs territory-wide activities of business sales consultant operations:
Ensures sales consultants receive training needed to be technically knowledgeable of company's products.
Coordinates resources to ensure the proper use and level of business sales consultant support.
Identifies the needs of key accounts and prospects and evaluates and develops solutions to meet those needs.
Conducts long-range studies of changes in key accounts sales and servicing strategies.
Directs and develops business sales consultant group leads in the sales consultant area:
Oversees activities of pre-sales management (i.e. hires, trains, coaches, appraises, rewards, motivates, disciplines, recommends termination as necessary, etc.).
Evaluates effectiveness of group leads; recommends necessary changes.
Educates business sales consultant organization in terms of support and sales tactics.
Works with DVP Sales and Sales Management Team to ensure that technical sales related activities support the strategic objectives of the company:
Prepares and submits reports and reviews outlining team assignments and/or changes, project status changes, and bonus awards to be made.
Maintains communication and coordinates activities between business sales consultant organization and sales staff.
May assist with key issues of sales planning.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

BS degree or equivalent work experience.
12 or more years of experience in technical sales support with five or more years in management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

Visionary, with superior leadership skills.
Excellent knowledge of all areas of business operations.
Excellent management skills with the ability to manage the company's business sales consultant operations. Excellent time management, communications, decision making, presentation, human relations and organization skills.
Able to resolve business issue, leading team, driving high performance.
Able to resolve pre-sales technical problems, working with field sales personnel.
Able to present technical concepts in clear manner to customers through demos and proposals.
Proficient PC skills
