The Imagery Programs Division is looking for a Principal Director for their GEOINT Futures Office. The Principle Director will lead and manage path finder acquisition support efforts within the Imagery Programs Division for our primary customer, NRO/IMINT.
Duties include:
Overseeing support to a classified special program office responsible for a major system acquisition path finder developing new phenomenology
Setting the vision and objectives for critical GEOINT acquisition
Defining customer needs, ensure quality products, manage execution
Leading bi-coastal subdivision with ~16 staff members and significant ETG reach back
Identifying and provide key support to customers in the areas of:
Technology development;
Systems integration;
Acquisition planning and strategy;
Systems, payload, and spacecraft engineering;
Mission assurance for operational demonstration mission;
Recruiting, developing, mentoring high caliber staff
Performing risk assessments
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or math
Minimum of 15 years of applicable experience
Experience and deep knowledge in multiple GEOINT functional areas such as:
Radar, EO, IR, Spectral;
Technology development across GEOINT domains;
Satellite development and acquisition life cycle;
Excellent oral and written communication and strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to:
establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of customers, contractors, and other labs,
gain respect of tough customers,
build strong Aerospace teams,
lead teams and coordinate engineering efforts across a wide range of technical domains,
recruit, develop, and retain high quality staff,
effectively utilize the ETG matrix
Frequent travel to contractor site locations
Current SBI
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
