A recognized technical expert with proven skills in all aspects of product processing, development and commercialization. Leads and manages a team of technical leaders for the commercialization of novel products, complex food systems or new technologies, and technical leadership of initiatives with brand groups and new product marketing. Presents / reports progress regarding product commercialization initiatives to senior leadership team internally and externally.

Sets the vision for the team and drives continuous improvement efforts to support new product initiatives and bottler capability. Partners with the senior leadership teams throughout CCNA to commercialize new products, food systems and / or technologies to drive sustainability. Positively asserts ideas and proposals that align with the organizations business plan and ultimately impacts the beverage industry. Works with senior leaders throughout the KO System as well as external experts throughout the food science, food technology, beverage and nutrition industries. Serves on R&D Technical Governance Leadership Team. Acts as the senior authority on product commercialization initiatives. Examines current challenges and recurring problems and evaluates the costs, risks and benefits of strategic alternatives. Draws from a wealth of experiences to make sound strategic decisions to ensure the product commercialization team is focused against high impact business critical priorities. Possess the ability to analyze conceptual information and new methods to resolve important, highly complex issues. Extensive cross functional knowledge and creativity required to develop innovative solutions. Demonstrates seasoned judgment. Able to assess and develop the judgment of others to ensure sound actions and decisions are implemented by the team. Makes decisions in the midst of ambiguity without getting bogged down in the details. Demonstrates the ability to break complex problems into manageable pieces to drive resolution of issues and effectively communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.



Requirements:

Exemplary oral and written communication skills to influence and negotiate timetables, solutions to issues, costs, new product commercialization concepts, capital investments and RFAs for projects to senior BU level leadership.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or related preferred. Masters or PhD preferred.

Experience:

12+ years Quality, Manufacturing, Process Engineering,

Product Development or Product Commercialization

Experience with a food, beverage or ingredient supplier.
