Director Learning Development eCP Expedia Bellevue

The Director of eCP Learning and Development will lead a small team to develop and drive eCP’s learning plan for 3,000+ associates and growing! eCP is a global organization, so this individual will need to be confident in identifying opportunities to scale traditional learning and development to global teams cost-effectively. The primary responsibility of this role is to create impact by designing and developing learning solutions that weave in our strategic goals and cultural values to deliver business performance. This is a highly visible position with the opportunity to fundamentally shape the future of eCP.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement eCP Learning and Development program to support organizational goals and values and to foster the professional development and retention of our employees
Develop learning content for key eCP initiatives
Support change management for implementation of key initiatives
Design and manage our learning and engagement platform
Enhance and maintain new employee orientation materials and eCP specific programming
Consult and provide direction and expertise to the Learning and Development teams within eCP sub-organizations
Partner with global team members to leverage learning and development opportunities and implement enterprise-wide activities
Support programming for community outreach
eCP culture and community building through learning and development opportunities
Job Requirements:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
Strong strategic and critical thinking skills; ability to see the “big picture” while also diving into details as necessary
A diplomatic, relationship builder with strong professional presence and demonstrated ability to influence others
Demonstrated ability to counsel executives regarding message content and delivery
Experience working cross-culturally and cross-functionally, and ability to adapt personal style to different environments
Exceptional project management skills with a voracious get­ it­ done attitude
Effective decision­ making skills; and the ability to choose a course of action among various options involving uncertainty or risk

Experience/Education
Bachelor’s degree in related field
MS in Learning and Development, Education, Organization Development or a closely related field preferred
10+ years of experience in managing a corporate learning and development function including complex project and budget management
In-depth knowledge of learning theory and practice in design, development, delivery, and evaluation for online, live sessions, and blended learning solutions
Knowledge of and experience with various off and on­line communications vehicles
Experience with in an ecommerce environment, is a plus
