The Director, Integrated Marketing acts as a primary point person in the development and pitch of integrated marketing partnerships with a particular emphasis on new business for MTV. This person also oversees execution of select Integrated Marketing Accounts.
Responsibilities
Lead the strategic development of marketing partnerships between MTV and advertising partners
Build synergistic partnership pitches that further a client’s brand goals as well as deliver marketing for MTV Priorities
Have an acute understanding of how to develop, use, optimize and measure marketing across all touch points – TV, digital, social, on-the-ground events
Successfully create presentation materials that sell strategic marketing partnerships and the tactics that create them (decks, one-sheets, sizzle reels, content)
Inspire clients with innovative ideas that bring their brand and MTV together
Manage, motivate and develop direct reports (Managers, Coordinators, Interns) in a manner that clearly sets priorities and understands workflow
Drive channel initiatives forward on both linear, digital platforms
Maintain an understanding of the Millennial media marketplace and Millennial insights to uncover/build unique content and strategic opportunities
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 7 years of marketing experience at an agency, broadcast / cable network or national brand
Superb cross-functional and project management skills and a track record of building 360 marketing programs that deliver on brand objectives and also grow revenue
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook)
Additional Qualifications
Deep understanding of how media platforms (TV, Digital, Social, On-The-Ground) work together to support one strategic concept
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Robust strategic thinking skills and the ability to articulate complex elements simply
Proven ability to manage and supervise a high-performing team
