Brand Marketing Director PepsiCo Plano

The Director of Funyuns and Value Portfolio Brands Marketing will have responsibility for a total business of $1B encompassing the Funyuns and Munchos brands as well as well as businesses under the Value Line price/size segments. This role will have 1 direct report.
Specific deliverables and competencies include:

Leadership:

Lead high-performing Funyuns Brand and Value Portfolio Solutions Marketing team.
Lead critical thinking, and strategic recommendations including equity, media and activation development.
Lead agency projects to maximize creativity & game-changing ideas (including 70/20/10).
Lead key cross-functional relationships across the organization.
Anticipating the Consumer:

Lead and develop team expertise of the consumer target and Young and Hungry Demand Space.
Unlock deep insights and translate into growth strategy.
Act as brand lead and consumer expert to influence innovation and design strategies which meet future needs of our consumers and customers.
Delight the Shopper and Master the Marketplace:

Lead deep understanding of Funyuns and Value Line businesses across channels including key customer activity calendar, merchandising, innovation launches, media and activation.
Developing Holistic Business Plans That Can Be Executed with Excellence:

Lead all internal brand processes to gain alignment to business plans (Strategic Business Plan, Governance, etc.).
Lead Media and Activation budget, including Digital, Social media and Partnership programs.
Actively lead all elements of business to achieve Operating Plan and set the business up for success in SBP horizon.
Lead understanding and sharing of 2016 brand forecast, including initiating necessary gap closure initiatives.
Lead agency and cross-functional enrollment in all planning processes.
Leverage sound analytics to develop new business and consumer insights to build future plans.

Building Talent:

Lead team with 1 Marketing Manager.
Work with direct report to develop performance and development plans which challenge and help them grow.
Provide team with challenging and rewarding projects and assignments

Qualifications:

MBA required, 5+ years of CPG experience preferred
Experience in marketing, brand, innovation and/or shopper.
Ability to analyze data & financials, incorporate multiple insights, and develop creative solutions.
Agency management experience preferred.
People management experience preferred.
