Provides leadership and direction through senior managers. Is accountable for the performance and results of multiple regions or diverse job families or departments within a major region or business unit. Develops and executes business unit, department or sub-functional strategy to achieve key business objectives. Decisions are guided by company and segment/functional strategy and objectives. Directs and controls the activities of one or more functional areas.
Key Responsibilities
Provides leadership and direction on how to increase SAM and SOM for SSC existing and potential markets.
Drives SSC long term growth process and responsible for 3x18 and 5x20 DOW.
Segment organic and inorganic targeted markets to recommend which segments to pursue and what long term service products to develop or/and acquire.
Go to market plan for any strategic SSC M&A based on market data, trends and opportunities.
Develop and articulates SSC annual Strat Plan based on compelling market information based on data and analytics.
Responsible for SSC BoD deck.
Needs to have broad and comprehensive understanding of semiconductor equipment and/or large service business environments.
Provides leadership and direction through senior managers for assessing existing and potential markets. Demonstrates broad and comprehensive understanding of technical and business environments. Develops and articulates strategies to meet business objectives for more than one broad functional area
Accountable for the performance and results of cross functional groups within a major region or business units to integrate products into a coherent portfolio of products focused on the market. Manages portfolio like a “product” (business plan, positioning, buying process, market requirements, and marketing plan)
Has 'guru' understanding to analyze market data and identify trends/opportunities, develop strategic direction from market information, and create compelling market analysis presentations and recommendations
Directs and controls the activities of more than one functional area and selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
Maps the needs within one or more broad functional markets and analyzes abstract market segmentations. Determines which segments to actively pursue
Works with management team to ensure that overall marketing function is effectively meeting the organization’s strategic goals for more than one broad functional area
Creates product strategies for more than one broad functional area that is integrated with AMAT products
Illustrates the vision and key phases of deliverables for products for more than one broad functional area
