Senior Director Sales Jabil McAllen

Defines, develops and implements a sales strategy, which contributes to the corporate sales and marketing strategic directions. Provide leadership and strategic direction for Country/Regional sales.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Generates sales from new customers.
- Recruit, interview and hire sales staff. Identify individual and team strengths and development needs on an ongoing basis
- Establish clear measurable goals and objectives by which to determine individual and team results (i.e. operational metrics, results against project timelines, training documentation, attendance records, knowledge of roles and responsibilities, personal development goals)
- Perform team member evaluations professionally and on time
- Coordinate activities of large teams and keep them focused in times of crises
- Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style
- Know , understand and communicate the overall Global Business Units and corporate strategic directions
- Define, develop and implement a Regional/Country sales strategy, which contributes to the strategic direction of corporate and each global BU
- Provide regular updates to superiors and regional management on the execution of the strategy
- Interpret and communicate customer requirements to enable development of services and operational capabilities to support new customers and business opportunities
- Prepares timely forecasts for the sales department
- Provides regular updates to VP of sales and marketing and team on the execution of the strategy
- Promote Jabil’s capabilities, footprint and services to new customers
- Lead commercial negotiations with new customers

Education & Experience Requirements
- Requires a relevant bachelor's degree; Master's Degree preferred
- Plus 8 - 10 years experience in Jabil or equivalent external work experience; 5 years in a sales/marketing management role.
- Strong entrepreneurial skills will allow an employee in this position to be a self-starter and posses an ability to work at the highest levels with very little supervision. Willingness to travel world-wide 30-50% of the time.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
