Reporting to Intel Security's Head of Global Channel Operations, Richard Steranka, the Director of Global and Strategic Partner Sales is responsible for driving growth in our Global and Strategic Partner segment. In this key leadership position, the Director will establish multiyear Partner strategies and then execute against those strategies with the oversight of Channel Regional Directors and Channel Sales Representatives. This highly visible executive will regularly interact with the Intel Security Executive leadership team as well as Executives at assigned Partners. This senior channel executive's strong background and experience will be essential in advancing our strategic agenda with our largest and most strategic Partners.
What you will do...
Drive the overall Partner relationship, strategy, tactical initiatives and results, and direct joint business activities through access to Partner's resources, technologies, and markets.
Meet and exceed assigned revenue quota expectations on a quarterly and annual basis.
Deliver consistent, quarterly results and year over year growth.
Engage Intel Security's executives with Partner executives on a consistent and ongoing basis. Great Partner relationships should be the result.
Drive quarterly business reviews identifying and addressing areas for improvement and future opportunities.
Leverage all solutions and resources to exceed partner value expectations.
Develop and maintain strong field sales alignment including pipeline and deal management.
Create an empowered, highly skilled, high performance extended team and practice a policy of "leading from the front."
Motivate the team to exceed established sales management objectives on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis. Must be comfortable performing in a metrics driven organization.
Monitor and take proactive actions necessary to ensure Partner's alignment with Channel Programs and Enablement, Professional Services, Support, Legal, Marketing and Sales.
Provide and promote consistent and regular open communication with all other functions within Intel Security to ensure smooth operations.
Extensive global travel is required.
Qualifications:
Requires 8+ years of relevant sales management or operations work experience
Demonstrable track record of creating and managing high performance Sales teams
Several years experience in the High Technology sector within a Software Solution Sales organization.
Management responsibility with direct experience in building a successful sales organization, channel structure, programs and people culture.
Able to articulate vision, solutions and concepts to C level customers.
