Developing and executing an industry leading Enablement program for Oracle Communications partners (GSIs, Resellers, Systems Integrators) that optimize Oracle’s overall partner sales and implementation capacity, velocity, and growth in the following product/ solution segments:.
o Policy/ OSS/ BSS including Online Charging
o Signaling (DSR, Eagle, PIC)
o Enterprise SBC (incl EOM, ECB, ISR)
o SP SBC (incl VoWifi/ VoLTE)
• Ensure the top partners for each product/ solution segment and geography are Company Specialized leveraging OPN. Promote/ award specialized partners at key events, e.g. Oracle Industry Connect.
· Working closely with Sales, pre-Sales, Development, Marketing, Support and Customer Success and Consulting, put in place the right processes to execute a workable model for partners to successfully sell, deploy and support our products.
· Ensure right Skills and Oracle involvement in deployments for Project Success:
o Assess partner skills on projects and recommend skills changes as needed.
o Offer/ quote expert services (design review, sizing, performance & tuning) to the partner at a fee and book/ bill via OPN.
· Build and grow the collective expertise of the partner community by leveraging social media tools for sharing and exchanging information in real-time.
· Building an Oracle Communications ‘Certified’ brand: Promote the progress and benefits of Enablement to Partners (individuals and companies), Customers, Sales and Development
• Tracking, Analyzing and communicating Enablement success of the partner business
Partner Programs:
• Develop and manage Partner and Enablement programs building on OPN.
• Successfully implement Deal reg, configuring, quoting, forecasting, ordering via OPS for the SBC business
• Lead and manage Chapter 2 of the Non OC500 Program
• Leading and managing a team of 20 people across the world including 3 managers
100 day plan:
• People: Ensure clear charter, goals, strategies, roles for flawless execution
• Execute on DSR, Policy, Eagle Enablement Program and successfully put the appropriate processes in place.
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Manage a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a Senior Director in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Envision and communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management, providing negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge important. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience preferred.
