Honeywell Sensing and Productivity Solutions (S&PS) is seeking a creative, dynamic Global Strategic Marketing Leader to drive vision into action in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. This leader will build the 5 year strategic plan for the business, analyze external data, drive Voice of the Customer processes, and help to identify acquisition targets. Simply put, this leader will shape the strategies and key initiatives central to the growth and profitability of S&PS.
Position Responsibilities:

• Support core strategy and marketing/customer intelligence efforts: STRAP, Competitive Intelligence, Market Research and Analysis, Growth Days and M&A input

• Deliver breakthrough strategic thinking to support/develop/drive Strategic Business Unit (SBU) growth initiatives, delivering actionable outputs that can be executed by Gold Business Enterprises (GBEs) and Regions

• Act as the point of contact between Automation and Control Solutions (ACS) marketing and the SBU teams (GBEs, Regions) for STRAP, Growth Days and key initiatives

• Lead in the identification of key external strategic alliance partners that create joint solutions that deliver incremental customer value with significant estimated revenue growth.

• Put in place a framework for Internet of Things (IoT) across functions, and management engagement across functions; work with GBEs on identifying key initiatives and execution of standard operating procedures

• Drive and own the 5 year strategic planning process including long term strategic initiatives, near term actions and competitive analysis

• Define and fine-tune strategy and strategic options of the company in order to strengthen the overall business portfolio

• Support acquisition and business development identification

• Identify and evaluate new markets adjacencies and cross SBU business opportunities

• Drive continual VOC activities to validate market understanding as well as to mine unmet customer needs for new product development and formulate requirements for new solutions to drive growth

• Identify and develop business plans to grow adjacent market opportunities including third party partnership targeting and management

• Drive market research and competitive analysis processes for the business and support product management in identifying gaps and development strategies

• Work closely with other functional leaders (e.g., Finance, Sales, Operations, MarCom, Technology, Pricing).
Qualifications

Basic Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field

• Minimum 7 years of experience successfully leading strategic planning, growth initiatives, and operational enhancement engagements in diverse technology or manufacturing driven industries

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a management or leadership role in a related field with progressive responsibility

• MBA

• Significant demonstrated experience working for top tier consulting firm in a strategic capacity

• Strong business-to-business analytical, financial, strategic thinking and marketing skills

• Ability to function in a global, highly matrixed environment with excellent collaboration skills

• Ability to develop, mentor and lead high performance teams to achieve the business objectives

• Ability to relate to business and financial impact to the strategic plan

• Ability to thrive in faced-paced, results-driven organization

• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to present to both the leadership team, as well as the broader organization
