As a senior member of the Audible Marketing organization, you have the opportunity to shape innovative customer-focused programs to drive strong business metrics. Your focus will include customer insights, marketing and product strategy across our core Audible business.
You will have direct hands-on ownership as well as cross-functional coordination with teams including Channel Marketing, Product Management, Creative, User Experience, Customer Service and Technology. Key Responsibilities:
· Partner cross-functionally to strategize new features, benefits and communications that drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention.
· Drive marketing strategy - create marketing plans for products; Own branding, positioning, messaging and creative, across the customer journey.
· Conduct market research, in partnership with our research team, to uncover key customer insights that drive positioning for our existing products as well as ideas for new features or benefits.
· Synthesize market intelligence & customer insights – be the expert on our customers, who they are and what segments we serve; be the expert on the competition and the broader digital marketplace.
· Drive business case development – bring together customer insights, research, financial data and analytics to develop a perspective on revenue and profitability potential for new to market initiatives.
· Lead product rollout marketing – Develop the strategy and manage the marketing implementation that drives product engagement. Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the organization’s ability to meet its goals. Manage the execution of initiatives from idea through launch, while setting and continuously managing the right expectations with all relevant stakeholders, including:
· Communicating marketing plans and strategy to senior leadership.
· Working with the Product Management team to align on features.
· Partnering with cross-functional marketing teams to guide message strategy across a variety of marketing efforts (such as paid media and member retention).
· Engaging the creative team to develop creative assets and campaigns.
· Working with PR, Social Media and Customer Service to craft a press strategy and social media approach as well as inform customer service talking points.
· Partnering with Finance, Analytics and Data Science to define and measure success.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong product marketing experience, defining and driving new products, features, benefits and ideas toward market launch rollout.
· Demonstrated understanding of messaging strategy, user experience and persuasive marketing techniques in driving engagement with new or existing features or benefits.
· A solid understanding of the full customer lifecycle and a customer segmentation; Experience with gathering and utilizing customer insights.
· A demonstrated record of partnering with teams cross the organization and influencing to achieve business results across multiple teams who may have different goals.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or a related field of study required.
· 8+ years of experience in related positions with increasing responsibility.
· Strong analytics and business case development skills.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Self-motivated, nimble and highly results-driven in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· MBA
· Product marketing experience
· Experience in membership-based business models
· Experience with both desktop and mobile platforms
· Strong people leadership skills
