The Director's position is responsible for the general management of an assigned region(s) and/or an assigned market segment(s). This position will focus on developing new business, maintaining existing business,
meeting financial targets and ensuring market share growth. This position will contribute to the Partner strategy process and lead in the implementation of these strategies consistent with the long-range corporate strategic plan. This position is also responsible for managing the department or division business and personnel in accordance with company policies and procedures.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Add value to Partners and/or Customers through consistent communication of Schneider Electric information, business plan reviews, staff updates/training, and end user call participation
· Assists in developing and implementing an annual budget and business plan for territory or market assigned
· Consistently look for innovative methods to increase Schneider Electric’s market share within the assigned territory or market segment
· Responsible for hiring, managing, training, mentoring, coaching and when necessary terminating all departmental sales personnel
· Continuously gather competitive information and communicate that information to the product management
· Communicate pertinent opportunities, risks and other information on a regular basis
· Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
· Four (4) year college degree required or equivalent work experience
· Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) preferred, but not required
EXPERIENCE:
· Seven years experience in BMS sales
· Five years supervisory experience required
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Excellent organizational skills
· Excellent leadership skills
· Schneider Electric BMS and Security/Access Control product knowledge required
