As a HR Strategic Planning Director, you'll support the strategic business planning process, authoring Quarterly, 1 to 3+ year strategic and business plans, organizing and managing key strategic meetings, and working with the leadership team to drive a strategic agenda. You'll also develop high-impact presentations and communication tools to communicate strategic plans and visions across the organization and develop overall long-term business and financial models and assist leadership in developing and implementing strategic organizational alignment initiatives.
You'll lead the development and ongoing management of tools and processes to execute against the strategic and business plans, establishing scorecard metrics to monitor the strategic plan and communicating critical reports. You'll independently lead cross-functional special project teams in support of general management to help identify and evaluate critical strategic priorities and/or strategic problems, and to catalyze action against these priorities through strategic and long-range business planning and performance management.
Specific accountabilities include but not limited to:
Lead the work to advance the HR Team & Talent Strategy and lead the process to support key Long-Term and Short-Term planning milestones
Develop HR shared agenda based on business strategy and HR required capabilities
Lead the Strategic Planning process in partnership with the Sr HR Leadership Team
Ensure integration and alignment between COE and Business Unit / Functional HR Plans
Cascade plans to HR Teams to ensure alignment and execution globally and across Nike, Inc.
Leverage Analytics and Insights from Workforce and Employee data to inform Strategy
Identify and ensure KPIs and Scorecards are in place to achieve intended results
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree – Business Administration with coursework in HR preferred
MBA or advanced degree is preferred
Minimum of 7 years' total experience (3 years' experience post MBA) in corporate strategic planning, human resources, corporate development, business development, management consulting or related fields
2 additional years' experience in lieu of an advanced degree
Previous management consulting experience at a top tier consulting firm is highly preferred
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and provide project management support
Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and financial models
Proven ability to conduct and/or analyze research related to consumers, industries and competitors
Problem structuring and strategic problem solving skills
Advanced skills developing compelling presentations to Sr Corporate Executives
Advanced facilitation skills
Technical corporate finance and valuation skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once
