ur future Creative Director who is a great storyteller as well as a great leader for the creative department and agency as a whole. They must show composure under pressure, be solution-orientated, and a collaborative partner to fellow Heaters and clients alike. Our future Creative Director shares our passion for creativity and innovation and is also an all-around good person.
We like good people. In your role, you will:
• Oversee the concepting, presentation, and sell through of creative presentations, which tie together multimedia channels and customer experiences.
• Act as a partner to clients businesses for which they lead creative, and ensure growth and marketing goals are achieved.
• Be willing to roll up your sleeves and see through the execution of creative ideas from concept through tactical production tasks, ensuring the highest level of quality and adherence to brand strategy.
• Lead, manage and train teams of writers, designers, and art directors to create smart and surprising creative solutions to solve our client’s marketing challenges by putting the consumer at the center of the experience.
• Partner with department heads in strategy, production, media, client services and talent to move forward the agency’s business goals for growth.
• Provide leadership, motivation and convey the vision and values of the agency to staff.
• Recommend staffing and compensation adjustments.
• Garner and maintain strong relationships with partners in-house and out of the agency: including Directors, Editors, Voice Talent etc.
• Participate in new business efforts as directed by the ECD.
• Stay current on trends, culture, and events; bring inspiring external insight into the work that you do with us; and have a natural curiosity for data.
• Demonstrate excellent time-management, and multi-tasking abilities, being able to independently meet deadlines, including internal check-ins.
• Be solution-oriented in the face of challenges.
• Have a self-starting, entrepreneurial spirit.

Qualifications

Required:
• Minimum of 10 years agency experience
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite
• Expert in color theory, typographic terms, and perspective and space relationships
• Excellent portfolio showcasing award-winning storytelling, conceptual, and executional skills in integrated campaigns
• Experience managing creatives from the senior level down
• Solid presentation skills and demonstrated ability to run a meeting with C level executives
• Experience pitching and winning new business
• Ability to travel up to 30%

Preferred:
• Bachelor or Associate’s Degree preferred
• Hybrid abilities to write and art direct preferred
• Excited to work in a dynamic, fast-paced agency culture, with the flexibility to change gears for different clients
