Nokia Technologies is an industry leader in Virtual Reality (VR) products advanced R&D in selected areas to drive innovation and potential for new product and licensing businesses. The Presence Capture unit is responsible for bringing revolutionary products to capture 3D Video and audio.
In this role you will lead the system design and develop a next generation VR Camera. You have a solid Hardware and Software background and knowledge of system architecture for VR or Camera products. You will develop the PRD provided by product management, oversee engineering, and work cross-functionally with the internal and external product development team. You will also work cross functionally with 3rd party manufacture, design, operation to deliver the system to production.

Responsibilities
Providing Leadership for the HW/SW Engineering Team
Lead Hardware and Software Development, Validation, and Engineering Documentation
Evaluate new technologies and choose best solutions
Participating in strategic planning; executing a product and technology roadmap in alignment with business strategies
Manage the different development phases done internally or with partners. Collaborate with external partners and internal teams during the product development phase
Drive and foster an environment of collaboration across teams & sites, that ensures the highest product quality and timely product releases
Leading and supervising a team of hardware and software engineers as they develop, test, modify, and create the final product
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering required
At least 5 years management experience at senior manager / director level
8 -12 years of experience in HW/SW development
Solid HW/SW design and knowledge of system architecture for consumer products
Expert in Hardware and software development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
