The Director Global Policy and Acquisition Analysis reports to the Sector Vice President Global Strategy and Mission Solutions and manages a team. This individual is responsible for defining, prioritizing and coordinating Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (AS) strategic and tactical interactions with government and policy representatives and related organizations through our Corporate Government Relations (GR) team. In concert with sector and program leaders, this individual and their team work to support GR's agenda for securing of legislative and financial support for Northrop Grumman’s business activities / programs from governmental and defense organizations globally.

The Director Global Policy and Acquisition Analysis represents the sector on federal and/or state legislative and regulatory affairs with GR and the Corporate Global Business Development Organization (CGBDO), and will, as appropriate, prepare position and preparation papers for engagements with elected officials and government officials in regulatory and As GR monitors progress of legislative, regulatory, and acquisition issues of interest to the sector and provides analysis, ensure these insights are understood across AS leadership. Understands, analyzes and provides insight to sector leadership on global acquisition processes, planning cycles, and content throughout focus country acquisition cycles. Understands, analyzes and provides insight to sector leadership on global regulatory policies, including but not limited to export/ITAR, MTCR, Airworthiness, Frequency Management, Foreign Military Sales, etc.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's degree
Must have familiarity with the acquisitions environment in the United States (globally preferred)
Must be eligible and have the ability to obtain and retain a TS/SCI clearance
Must have 7+ years experience with federal and/or state legislative affairs
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with export/ITAR, MTCR, Airworthiness, and foreign military sales.
Presidential and/or Congressional fellowship experience
