Director Application Development ADP Alpharetta

ADP is searching for a Product Development Director for its Marketplace R&D team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of developers and testes, creation and implementation of development strategy and processes, and delivery of high quality products.
Build highly engaged and motivated development team
Grow the team to accomplish aggressive product development timeframes
Collaborate with key stakeholders to align development, testing and delivery of defined capabilities
Coordinate day-to-day development activities including release and sprint planning
Manage workload and professional development of the product development team
Help developers resolve both technical problems as well as human resources issues
Set annual performance goals and conduct performance reviews of the staff
Conduct research and integrate best practices into product development
Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years of management/ leadership experience in a software development
Minimum 10 years experience working through the design, development, release cycle, and delivering SaaS and cloud-based applications
Experience with agile, leanban and scrum software development methodologies
Ability to set priorities and maintain organization as well as successfully drive others to complete priorities
Strong understanding of the software development cycle
Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem solving skills
Outstanding oral and written communication, and strong presentation skills
Experience in both front-end and back-end programming using modern technologies and frameworks
Experience web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.JS and others
Experience with test methodologies and automation frameworks
Strong supporter of the DEVOPS model
Understanding of relational and non-relational databases; experience with MongoDB is a plus
Willingness to dive into software environments and technical issues
