This position plays an integral role on all CEO Communications needs. The position is responsible for supporting the Sr. Director CEO Communications and the broader Communications function on developing the agenda and content for the Chairman and CEO of PepsiCo. This includes CEO communications planning and content development, including speech writing, for the Chairman and CEO as well as supporting the planning and execution of events.
Supporting Sr. Director CEO Communications on researching and writing content, including speeches, for the Chairman and CEO.
Working closely with the Senior Director, CEO Communications on managing the Chairman's communications, including external and internal speaking engagements.
Partnering with communications leaders around the world to develop content for the Chairman and ensure proper execution of the Chairman's engagements outside the U.S.
Interacting with the Chairman and CEO and other members of the Senior Management team.
Working closely with other members of PepsiCo's global communications leadership team to help shape messaging and enhance corporate reputation.
Developing briefing documents to prepare the Chairman for various engagements.
Qualifications:
Experience writing speeches for high profile public or private sector leaders preferred.
Strong writing skills and ability to write for a wide range of occasions and audiences.
Experience writing well in a fast-paced environment
Experience writing for a high profile leader in the public or private sector
Executive presence and ability to engage with senior executives
Strong research skills and ability to find great stories that can bring a speech to life.
Ability to manage multiple project simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong executive presence; comfortable and confident engaging senior leaders.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to understand organizational priorities and execute communications plans to achieve them.
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of relevant experience
Travel; 10-15%
