Job Description:
Edelman Digital is in search of a savvy digital technologist with marketing automation experience to join our quickly growing team. The Digital Senior Director, Technology will guide our clients during the creation and optimization of lead automated marketing programs to develop qualified sales leads and create brand awareness. In this role, the successful candidate will manage the marketing automation development phases including: requirements gathering, design/development, testing, configuration and advanced administration.
Marketing Solution Architecture:
Work with clients to turn their marketing automation platform into a revenue driver, using best practices in marketing automation, lead management and revenue performance management
Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical execution, receive feedback and present results
Manage projects to deliver the expected results on time and on budget
Provide innovative solutions by creating cutting edge, effective and efficient marketing programs
Hands-on development and execution of marketing campaigns including campaign flow builds, email, landing page and form creation, testing, media placement, tracking, etc.
Drive and manage email process: content, messaging, segmentation, and list management for maximum revenue and profitability
Create, implement and maintain dashboard of key success metrics
Monitor, analyze and report on campaign performance to maximize ROI and sales
Technical Support:
Ongoing management of live sites/systems in collaboration with client as well as project management, creative and account teams.
Act as the primary technical contact for clients and delegating work to developers or development partners.

Basic Qualifications:
Must have at least two - three years of technology management experience in a digital agency environment working on a variety of small, medium and large web based sites and applications.
5+ years hand on experience with broad range of technologies including but not limited to: LAMP, .NET, SQL Server, XHTML/CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, Web APIs such as Google, Facebook, Twitter.
Minimum of 2 years of architecture and development experience with marketing automation technologies and processes for marketing automation technologies such as Teradata Applications (Aprimo), IBM Experience One (Unica), Oracle Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget), Adobe Marketing Cloud (Neolane), Marketo, MS Dynamics CRM(Marketing), or other similar technologies
Ability to gather and document business, functional and technical specifications.
Experience working with hardware architects to ensure a scalable software solution
Experience with Web analytics platforms such as Webtrends, Google Analytics and/or Omniture
CMS experience such as Drupal, Expression Engine, Sharepoint and Wordpress a plus
Social Media experience a plus, including understanding blogging systems, social network APIs and mobile
