Job Description:
Essential research role responsible for the development, enhancement and maintenance of research and data systems. Serve as interface with vendors and developers to provide efficient and positive user experiences. Work with Research Operations Manager to improve operational workflow and assist in scaling custom solutions across the Comcast Spotlight footprint consisting of local, regional and national sales organizations.
Serve as project owner for Comcast Spotlight, responsible for assisting the EBI and TSG product and development teams to ensure that milestones are met and deliverables align with Comcast Spotlight operational and sales goals. Oversee the work of the Automation Specialist.
Core Responsibilities:
- Maintain issues and enhancements trackers for production systems including Strata, Nielsen Arianna, comScore MediaMetrix, Rhiza, Allant ZRD, Zoniac, TAP, etc.
- Conduct user satisfaction surveys and focus groups to improve operational workflow.
- Work with research leads to establish priorities.
- Develop proofs of concepts (POC) and write statements of works (SOW) for system enhancements.
- Serve as Project Owner and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the EPS and TSG groups for the development of new systems and databases by providing input into business and technical requirements documents.
- Oversee data integrity of existing applications.
- Establish monthly communication with vendor representatives to keep systems development on track.
- Coordinate testing of new versions.
- Communicate upgrades and fixes to user groups.
- Approve and maintain user lists, licenses and logons.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters
of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work
nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Specification:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, with concentration in computer and data studies preferred.
- Generally requires 10+ years related experience
- Minimum of 5 years related media and data systems experience, with 3 or more years managing a team in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Superior communication skills, both written and oral, required.
- Strong understanding of systems design, user interfaces and data dependencies.
- Proficient in project management.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Visio.
