Job Description:
The Marketing Director will support the client service and selling teams in telling compelling stories, developing marketing plans and designing and executing demand generation programs to drive revenue for the business. This person will report to the Vice President, Marketing and be responsible for articulating sales stories, identifying market needs, writing creative calls to action based on client personas and understanding Salesforce CRM system including extensive usage of marketing automation tools to distribute and optimize content and response rates.
If you have a passion for writing and visual communications, like to develop relationships with industry leaders, understand the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, have experience working in a complex, matrix, fast-paced, high-exposure environment; this is the job for you!

Telling compelling stories starts with understanding the client and the ability to empathize with their needs and desires. Once that’s clear, knowing how to position the content to demonstrate value and simplify the complex is a core asset to this role. You will be responsible for creating the stories that get distributed in various ways – through our internal Knowledge Center, direct to client service teams, via webinars that you will manage, at industry events, on the Nielsen website and social media channels, etc.

Salesforce CRM experience is critical. As we ramp up onto this system, you will be responsible for leading the marketing team in understanding the value of this demand generation tool and how to drive programs through it. You will be responsible for understanding how to segment the client base and develop a marketing funnel, starting with delivering marketing campaigns with creative calls to action all the way through to closed sales that drive results.

This role is highly visible and drives significant strategy, revenue and positioning. If you have the right experience, are a strategic thinker, want a career at a fast paced, growing organization and have the desire to make an impact, then this opportunity is for you.
