Director Business to Business Marketing Gogo Chicago

Job Description:
The Director of B to B Marketing serves as a marketing strategist who is a central point of development and coordination for Gogo’s Sales and Product organizations, creating awareness and demand for Gogo products and solutions with the world’s airlines. This is a key role in pursuit of new aviation business and new product communications via focused sales and marketing. This role manages Gogo’s go-to-market strategy for B to B communications activities, which can include event marketing, online, print, advertising and other forms of communication. This role will also lead efforts to drive marketing through airline partner channels from a B to C perspective.
Responsibilities
Position Gogo as a strong B to B technology brand in the aviation industry and manage brand messaging to appropriate customer segments
Develops short and long term strategic, integrated marketing plans analyzing the company’s objectives and mission and creating a marketing platform that showcases Gogo as a technology leader in the aviation space.
Research and monitor financial, technological, demographic, and trend factors and use this data to adjust marketing strategy accordingly
Managing internal/external vendor relations with advertising agencies, printers, video production houses, trade show personnel, etc
Responsible for event marketing, airline marketing and business to business marketing
Get cross-functional alignment for each marketing campaign, including agreement on next steps and milestones, inclusive of feedback from stakeholder groups: consumer insights, global airline solutions team, and agency partners to effectively develop marketing campaigns and insure effective in market execution.
Developing the creative concept and execution for marketing materials in support of marketing Gogo’s suite of products and services, including corporate brochures, advertising, data sheets and all other marketing literature
Developing and implementing all forms of airline sales solutions support material, including product literature, and proposal content
Lead event marketing and airline marketing team members to deliver ongoing marketing strategy for these channels that delivers overall company strategy in terms of airline acquisition, revenue, brand awareness, etc.
Evaluate the results of marketing efforts to determine future plans.
Work with creative team to establish continually develop the Gogo brand as a B2B technology leader
Support integrated marketing campaigns that communicate the Gogo brand in promotional materials, events, and communication to customers
Experience in managing/coaching talented staff and in building/maintaining high performing teams
Manage team of four experienced marketing professionals

Job Requirements
10+ years experience in one or more fields of marketing and with offline and online channels (Integrated Marketing, B2B Marketing, Marketing Communications, Sponsorships, Brand Marketing, Promotions / Event Marketing)
Experience with a technology/aviation company is a plus.
Creative thinker who can do a lot with a small budget
Executive presence and ability to work with senior members of large organizations
Strong influencer skills and ability to sell ideas within an organization
Ability to innovate, think creatively, and foster dialogue across diverse groups
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with solid attention to detail
Strong ability to anticipate and accommodate needs, requests and issues
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong, effective public speaking skills.
Must be able to contribute ideas in a creative atmosphere
