Director Acquisition Integration Business Process Strategy Cisco San Jose

Job Description:
We’re looking for an exceptional person for the high visibility, high responsibility Director Integration Lead (IL) position. The IL must own and drive the successful integration of acquired organizations into Cisco, employing adroit leadership, in-depth knowledge of Cisco, ‘super’ program management skills, executive presence and masterful communications -- along with a good dose of patience, humor and humility. The right Cisco-experienced candidate will need to be comfortable with not knowing all the answers, but will be confident in being able to drive with stakeholder groups to the best possible solutions to enable new businesses in Cisco.
This role provides a truly unique opportunity - particularly in a time of such change for Cisco - to work on early stage deals under NDA across multiple Cisco business units and functions, and to get exposure to a multitude of new technologies and target companies that are re-shaping the world of tech.

In addition to leading acquisitions, the IL may work on divestitures, partnerships, or as a lead of special projects/initiatives. He/she drives operational decisions which affect deadlines, overall business operations and CD’s broader success. Being able to influence/set strategic direction, act as an advisor to stakeholders, and to lead independently on most issues and escalations is a must. This role provides an opportunity to be a major contributor to Cisco's efforts to gain leadership in global markets.

You will be joining a talented organization with high performance standards and decades of collective Cisco experience. The work itself is dynamic - as each and every deal has its own nuances, challenges, opportunities, and as we’re often breaking new ground for Cisco – but rewarding for the same reasons.

Responsibilities Include

• Lead integrations (or partnerships, divestitures etc.) of product or services-based deals which are large/complex in size (number of people, revenue) or those that relate to new markets and associated with higher risk levels. These deals typically span 1-3 years
