Role
• Lead commercialization of innovative payment authentication solutions from ideation through business case development and go to market launch.
• Serve as product champion and manage activities for new product initiatives with other MasterCard matrix teams (Operations & Technology, Customer Delivery, Sales, Customer Account Management, Implementation, Marketing, Franchise and Legal) to ensure successful new product commercialization and launch.
• Commercialize new products following MasterCard Product Management Excellence framework.
• Monitor the landscape of competitive products and industry trends, understanding their implications for MasterCard and developing toolkits to empower the product /sales teams with necessary product knowledge and information
• Develop, plan and execute the go-to-market strategy for cardholder authentication solutions in partnership with regional market product management leads .
• Define, track and report key product success indicators for new authentication solutions.
All About You
• Demonstrated success in product commercialization, product management and sales support within a global organization.
• Significant experience building sound business cases, pricing new products, designing payments products relevant to the market, and delivering results within budget
• Demonstrated business acumen and ability to commercialize innovative solutions involving new technologies
• Experience in payments processing and technical implementations in a multi-stakeholder environment (banking or payments focus required)
• Positive team player with proven ability to project manage complex projects with multiple stakeholder’s and fluid schedules.
• Thought-leader with knowledge of authentication, fraud prevention and security methodologies
• Must have strong communication, presentation creation and delivery skills
• MBA preferred
• 15 % travel required
• Location required – Purchase, NY or St. Louis, MO (with travel to the other location as needed)
