Job Description:
Sr. Director, People Business Partner for the Global Functions (HR, Finance, Legal, Communications, PR). This role will be based in our San Jose, CA office reporting to our VP, People.
- An ideal candidate will have significant experience creating and implementing innovative HR solutions that drive transformational change and support strategic business objectives.
- The ideal candidate will have the personal qualities and professional experience necessary to quickly gain credibility across the organization, build strong liaisons and partnerships and execute both tactical and strategic HR change.
- S/he will be able to thrive in a culture that is collaborative, highly matrix, customer centric and team oriented and geographically diverse.
- S/he will have experience working within a high intensity, fast-paced business, requiring a heavy focus on organizational and operational effectiveness.
- HR Strategy Development of holistic HR Strategy enabling the needs of the business and organizing resources to deliver against the plan.
- Support growth and expansion into new markets or new acquisitions. Own/manage cross-functional HR Initiatives.
- Strategic planning; development and implementation of HR plan to drive business goals and progress.
- Leadership Effectiveness: Provide coaching to leaders and people managers at various levels in the organization.
- Drive talent management and outcomes (mobility, exposure to leadership, stretch assignments, mentoring) and people leadership as well as develop a succession pipeline for our business.
- Effectively facilitate, clarify and resolve leadership intent and decisions throughout and across the organization.
- Employee Engagement & Retention: Build a winning business environment - Shared Purpose, Behaviors and Commitments, collaborate and influence within a strong management team, drive engagement and retention.
10+ years of HR Generalist experience in roles of progressively increasing scope
Experience in a high profile, strategic HR role with heavy executive-level interface and a high
degree of executive influence
Significant depth in OD/Learning, Facilitation, Executive Recruiting and Employee Relations is
desired
A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or
equivalent experience is required with a preference for an advanced degree in Human
Resources or Business Administration
