Job Description:
The Director will:
work with hospital leadership to develop growth strategies and effectively market the hospital’s service lines to patients, employees, physicians, payors and community.
gather, analyze and evaluate market research, competitors, and industry trends and utilize that data along with other intelligence to develop and implement the organization’s strategic plan.
ensure the quality and effectiveness of all marketing efforts.
Desired Skills and Experience
7 + years marketing experience including strategic planning and market research in a progressive, service-orientated healthcare company.
A bachelors degree in marketing, public relations, advertising, business or healthcare management; an advanced degree in business, health administration or marketing is strongly preferred.
Successful track record in significantly and consistently contributing to the growth and profitability of past employers.
Extensive experience and success in analyzing business opportunities and developing new business through effective strategy development, marketing and product positioning.
Strong communication and relationship building skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills as well as both oral and written communications skills.
Ability to manage and analyze market research and maintain a marketing database to support effective strategic planning.
Strong understanding of how advertising, public relations, community relations and communications work together for a complete marketing plan.
