Job Description:
Cargomatic is looking for an exceptional Human Resources leader to undertake all aspects of HR including the strategic talent acquisition and workforce planning initiatives for Cargomatic. We are continuing to grow rapidly and hiring top talent.
Specifically:
As the Director of People, you will help to continue to develop, drive and execute on our strategies to support our evolution as a company. You will lead and grow a team that could include Coordinators, Recruiters, Sourcers and Managers while also working closely with our Executive team, our Board and our Hiring Managers.
You will have expertise in building, implementing and managing a scalable HR & Talent Acquisition program for tech companies who have seen explosive growth and have previous experience in the 100-to 200-headcount growth periods. This will include, but will is not be limited to; assessment of recruitment needs and hiring plans, compensation structure, establishing new benchmarks for time-to-fill and cost-to-fill and more. The Director of People will also ensure that our recruitment initiatives favorably align to our mission of attracting the exceptional talent that will champion our Core Values. You will bring all these experience and more to the Cargomatic team as our resident expert in HR, Talent Acquisition, culture and growth. You also recognize and understand today's rapid pace of change and competitive business environment.

Using your previous experience with explosive growth, iterate on our strategy and planning to ensure business alignment with our growth plans
Articulate and define the company image and Employer Branding, organizational culture, key differentiators, reputation, and products and services
Define our candidate audience; understand and define the audiences for Cargomatic hires
Use metrics to drive continuous improvement to ultimately improve the quality of our hires
Establish HR strategies and accountabilities; compensation plans, health & wellness benefits, training, development, safety and health, succession planning, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations
Use your analytic skills to estimate, forecast, and anticipate requirements and trends; aligning our monetary resources with our developing action plans
Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organizational values
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local legal requirements, enforcing adherence and advising management on needed actions

Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:
An advanced degree in an HR and/or a related field or PHR/ SPHR designation, MBA is preferred
10 + years full-life cycle recruitment experience in a progressive, fast-paced environment with a minimum of 5 years of managerial experience to include management of staff in multiple locations
Strong leadership, organizational and project management skills along with a high level of accountability in a results driven environment
Flexible and capable of providing leadership in a matrix organizations.
Proven ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial, customer focused environment
A track record of successfully working closely with the executive team to develop effective HR strategies
Strong understanding of traditional and innovative HR tools staffing, organization design, performance management, HR measurement and legal compliance
Ability and willingness to be both strategic and tactical; you can role your sleeves up and get it done
