Job Description:
Plans at a tactical level and manages the effective use of resources and directs assigned staff to develop, implement and maintain large complex system(s) and/or project(s). Facilitates and/or participates in and has input to the design/development process.

Job Specific & Technical Skills & Competencies Ebusiness organization is looking to add an Information Systems Director to their growing team. e-Business technology is focused on delivering digital capabilities on behalf of Travelers to the market. As a member of the e-Business technology team, this individual will be asked to lead medium size development efforts for the general public and the Agents who write business with Travelers. Following agile methodologies, this individual will lead a team of developers to deliver new market facing capabilities such as an improved registration process for Travelers agents in accordance with requirements as established by our internal business partners

previous development team leadership prefered.
knowledge of development tools (CSC, HTML, JavaScript, etc)

Delegates to maximize organizational effectiveness Financial Awareness Has budget responsibility for an organizational unit of 5 to 25 employees and/or a budget of between $1M and $10M. Develops a portion of an overall divisional budget subject to review and is responsible for expense control for the units assigned. Demonstrates sound cost-effectiveness.
