The Finance Director will be reporting to our Corporate Controller and responsible for the following activities:
Lead the accounting and financial reporting functions across the Americas region, including providing oversight to the Accenture shared services centers
Review complex and unusual transactions to ensure compliance with US GAAP and corporate accounting policies and communicate with senior management
Govern compliance with corporate financial/accounting and operational policies to support effective internal and business control environments
Manage the financial risk review process for the region and evaluate exposures for proper accounting and disclosure in the financial statements
Provide leadership in strengthening the internal control structure across all business functions including support of internal and external audits, and local statutory-based audits
Provide technical consultation and operational accounting support to the lines of business and functional groups and assist corporate controllership with implementation of strategic projects and initiatives
Direct the controllership work stream activities for the integration of strategic acquisitions within the region
Make appropriate decisions and collaborate as a team with minimal supervision; perform multiple tasks simultaneously
Manage and lead other team members and contribute to personnel matters such as recruiting, defining objectives and performance appraisals
Work directly with CFO Leadership Council members on various process planning/analysis initiatives
