Director Federal Strategic Accounts Schneider Electric Washington

Job Description:
Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a highly talented, motivated, solution minded individual for the position of Director, Federal Strategic Accounts. Reporting to the VP of Business Development, this position is responsible for providing leadership and direction developing business growth across all of Schneider Electric’s business lines for our Federal Government segment.

Specific Responsibilities Include


Develops and implements sales and business development strategies for complex, multi-business solution based sales and services through the Federal Government segment in order to achieve business growth, increased margin, and a high level of customer satisfaction
Be able to articulate Schneider Electric’s Value Proposition for differentiation and alignment to Federal end user needs
Drives collaboration with SE Business Unit and Regional Sales Leaders in order to evolve our organization to effectively deliver comprehensive solution sales and services with high value propositions for customers in the Federal Segment
Holds the team accountable for the successful execution of large, complex projects from design phase through execution
Builds relationships at the C-Suite level with targeted Federal end users and other Executive Level members of the value chain.
Drives the Talent Management strategy for the team and provides coaching, performance management, and development that supports successful execution of business plans
Implement and maintain a performance measurement process including revenue, orders and pipeline management through a CRM tool.
Creates a dynamic work atmosphere to motivate employees and create an innovative and winning team

Qualifications

A four year degree is required. An MBA from a recognized major university is preferred
Must have a minimum of 10 years of highly successful, varied experience in field sales, key/strategic account sales, business development and marketing. Federal experience preferred
Must be an open minded, quick learner, systems minded leader who has the ability to think through the integration of new technologies and differentiate our solutions
Must be able to effectively challenge the status quo, network both upwards and downwards, and collaborate and influence within a complex, global organization
Must be a self-confident and skilled communicator who has demonstrated the ability to build high level relationships at the C-Suite and influence across functional boundaries
Must have well developed strategic planning skills and be able to effectively articulate and communicate sales strategies
Must prioritize team development, emphasizes and consistently utilizes performance management and employee development tools and has demonstrated the ability to lead organizations.
