Job Description:
The Director, Cybersecurity Strategy & Governance will work directly with the Chief Cybersecurity Officer and be responsible for managing strategy, communication, policy and governance for the department.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate proven, hands-on experience in effective policy implementation, training and awareness, communications and change management in the areas of cybersecurity.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Work with business leaders to ensure that cybersecurity policies and standards are integrated with business processes in their region
Collaborate with legal, human resources and other department leaders to stay abreast of regulatory changes and changes to global training strategy/protocol
Strong communication and networking skills with the ability to develop relationships and rapidly grow trust and respect
Comfortable with articulating security related concepts to a broad range of technical and nontechnical staff, including executive management
Support information security executive steering committee needs and executive reporting requirements
Manage and report on agreed upon KPIs
Liaise with stakeholders to provide guidance on policy, awareness and governance matters
Assist CCSO to develop cybersecurity communication strategy and plan

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills:
Understanding of all aspects of a successful, global cybersecurity program
Ability to be effective in a highly matrixed environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a wide range of audiences including technologists, executives, business stakeholders and IT team members
Fluent written and spoken business English
Must be able to effectively multi-task
Working knowledge and applied experience of common information security management
frameworks, such as ISO 27001, ITIL, COBIT, COSO and NIST
High level of personal integrity, and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity
High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work with little supervision
Experience:
5+ years management experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
Experience in supporting and managing a global cybersecurity function
Some experience with risk management
Experience in leading matrix global teams.
Education:
4-year degree in related field of study
