Director Development Loyola Law School Los Angeles

Job Description:
As a senior member of the Law School Advancement team, the Director of Development is responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction for major gifts, annual giving, advancement services, and donor stewardship. The Director will develop and implement a comprehensive development program to involve alumni, friends, and law firms in the mission and goals of Loyola Law School.

The Director will be expected to raise major gifts ($25,000 and more) / planned gifts in support of the School’s fundraising priorities.

Candidates for this position typically have a bachelor’s degree and an advanced degree is preferred. Incumbent will have a minimum of seven years of professional fundraising, preferably in higher education along with a track record that demonstrates solid fundraising results in annual giving and major gifts. This includes the ability to plan, organize and implement fundraising activities effectively, as well as participate in high-level individual, corporate, and/or foundation solicitations. Experience managing annual giving programs, teams, and volunteers required. Experience should be in progressively responsible positions.
