Job Description:

The Director of CRM will be responsible for leading the development and evolution of the Saleforce.com support team. The ideal candidate is a technically savvy, analytical and innovative with a keen sense of business acumen. This position is accountable for leading and developing a diverse, highly skilled, business focused team with a scalable staffing model that includes employees and consultants both on-shore and offshore and is responsible for driving strategy while also driving the execution and implementation of the strategy.

Specifically, the position will serve as the owner and Subject Matter Expert for Annuities CRM and in addition to managing the Salesforce.com support team, will work cross functionally with the business partners to continuously understand and anticipate business needs and enhancements to the CRM applications to meet those business needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven ability to drive strategy and creative solutions through the optimization of technology to enable business growth and process simplification.

This position will consult with functional management in the analysis of short and long range business requirements and recommend innovations which anticipate the future impact of changing business requirements, hardware and software on the client area(s) applications and systems. Partners with IT vendors to influence product roadmaps to provide Prudential with competitive advantage using industry best practices and trends. Functions as a primary client contact responsible for fulfilling project requirements. Coordinates activities with other systems' unit heads (e.g., data base, operations, telecommunications, technical support, etc.). Responsible for project planning, scheduling, status reporting and project budgets. Establishes and analyzes staffing requirements within guidelines. Responsible for implementing projects consistent with long-range Information Management plans and standards. Maintains relationships with vendors and professional organizations. Performs related duties as assigned or requested. Develops departmental plans, including business and/or organizational priorities.

Desired Skills and Experience
10+ years of leadership experience in roles of increasing responsibility and complexity

• 7+ years of Salesforce.com experience in a 100+ user environment

• Ability to establish strategy and objectives, set clear expectations and demand high performance

• Ability to inspire and motivate teams and individuals

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization

• Strong understanding of business intelligence concepts including data analysis, data mining with experience in applying these concepts

• Keen ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities

• Demonstrated ability with strong teamwork and attention to detail

• Strong understanding of relational databases with experience in implementing BI solutions

• Strong sense of customer focus, both internal and external

• Potential Travel Required - 10% - 20% of time (CT, NJ, PA)

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience required

• Salesforce.com Administrator or Advanced Administrator Certification strongly preferred
