Job Description:
T-Mobile USA is a leading provider of digital GSM/GPRS, UMTS, and LTE wireless voice and data technology standards. Directors, Coverage Strategy and Analytics located in Bellevue, WA will report to the Vice President, Coverage Strategy and Network Experience, and will be responsible for leading the development and execution of long-range strategic plans and objectives relating to the National Network Coverage Rollout.
Responsibilities
Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for thought-leading and overseeing analysis to gain insight on coverage and distribution risks and opportunities from an integrated network, customer, commercial, and competitive perspective.
Formulate strategic network-centric courses of action to maximize the company's leverage within the US market while also considering network costs, customer experience, and developments in wireless technology.
Prioritize Network Rollout initiatives to optimize resources and recommend action to be taken, including major capital expenditures.
Identify coverage risks and opportunities in terms of churn and acquisition potential and define strategic targets for Network Coverage optimization around costs, coverage quality needs, market opportunities, and customer experience.
Build out competitive intelligence on network performance and strategies.
Drive and deploy in depth, mashed-up, and de-averaged analytics from NT data sources, Carrier IQ, SoGA, and Sales and Distribution data to identify, inform, and validate investment and rollout decisions.
Develop Business Cases for prioritization options and scenarios and craft executive forecasting, reporting, and communications.
Turn Analysis, insights and Business Cases into planning and fine-tuning of macro planning and mapping.
Functional And Technical Skill Requirements
Experience (1) utilizing Excel modeling skills to perform financial analysis of corporate initiatives.
Experience (2) performing mathematical modeling of stochastic, dynamic, and non-linear systems.
Experience (3) utilizing at least one structured programming language.
Experience (4) constructing logical and comprehensive presentations utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint to communicate results of complex financial and pricing analyses.
Experience (5) thought-leading a team of analysts in solving over-constrained critical business problems with senior management.
Experience And Education Requirements
PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, business administration, or a related field or the foreign equivalent and seven years of relevant work experience.
ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in mechanical engineering, business administration, or a related field or the foreign equivalent and five years of relevant work experience.
