Job Description:
Reporting to the Director Mobility, Pfizer Consumer Healthcare (PCH), incumbent will be responsible for owning global brand development and pipeline innovation for the Mobility need state, anchored by ThermaCare, one of the leading external OTC brand worldwide. Incumbent will champion global brand equity, influence the long-term vision/strategy, identify new product and claim opportunities and own global commercial development of new product initiatives.
The position will require strong partnership and collaboration across global functions, key Affiliate Teams and PCH Regional Leads.
Responsibilities
*Accountable for working in conjunction with the Pain Free Lead / Mobility Lead / Disruptive Innovation Lead to develop the plan to realize global long-term strategic vision of becoming the top player in externals sub-category.
*Accountable for developing breakthrough initiatives, operating in close collaboration with lead affiliate markets, regulatory, medical, consumer insights and R&D. Focuses on driving project value by optimizing consumer proposition (concept, claims, product, packaging and advertising), while delivering agreed affiliate launch dates.
*Responsible for core brand equity guardrails and guidelines. Accountable for developing and deploying equity materials, including global master package graphics, for use across key affiliate markets.
*Accountable for developing high impact NPP launch Toolkits including all elements of the consumer proposition. Partner with lead Affiliate markets on launch advertising that delivers action standards.
*Partners with SP&I to scan the environment for trends, breakthrough concepts, prioritize projects and, ensure pipeline sufficiency creating balance of disruptive and traditional innovation to deliver growth targets.
*Responsible for 5-year packaging innovation vision and roadmap.
*Acts as the global consult for incoming Regional questions on brand strategy, advertising and positioning.
*Works closely with R&D to develop product roadmaps to fuel future pipeline ideas.
Qualifications
*Bachelor Degree required, MBA preferred with major or specialization in Marketing/Brand Management.
*Minimum of 8+ years marketing experience in OTC or FMCG brand management, with proven track record of bringing breakthrough, category changing innovation to market. Experience with global product launches a plus.
*Experience developing/bringing NDAs (new drug applications) to market desired experience in Analgesics a plus.
*Excellent communication and collaboration/relationship-building skills and ability to engage across functions/cultures at a senior level.
*Ability to anticipate issues/risks and work proactively to address them.
*Prefer experience working globally, directly with international affiliates and across multiple countries/regions, with proven ability to work within areas of cultural difference.
*Flexibility to travel to international affiliates and emerging markets.
