Director - Product Management - ACI Worldwide - Waltham


Job description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Director of Product Management will work on developing strategy and execution plans that support the ACI Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment business. Drives the development of product definition and solution plans to optimize the company’s products and services portfolio.
Applies broad knowledge of company’s product/service capabilities and competitive environment to identify new growth areas, new technology and emerging product/service opportunities. Oversees the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements to define product strategies and identify product opportunities to expand market share. Evaluates in-depth market analysis and leads business case for optimization of existing products/solutions alternatives and/or to create the next generation of new products. Collaborates with research and development to create products and validate early product definitions. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Develops financial plans and manages Application P&L for respective product line.
Develops the 5 year product line strategy and establishes the 1 year operating plans for the respective product line.
Drives product line strategy including market definition and sizing, distribution strategy, portfolio planning and roadmap definition, communication and maintenance.
Works with Corporate Development to establish partnerships to fill product functionality gaps.
Understands and continually improves customer satisfaction for respective product line and products. Develops a set of actions to improve product loyalty and drive changes into product operations.
Continually improves employee engagement through acquisition, retention, mentoring and development of key human resources.
Travel will be required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum Requirements Needed:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
10+ years related experience.
Management or leadership experience

Highly Desired Skills:
Strong knowledge of both Bill Pay market and the underlying payments ecosystem are highly valued. This includes knowledge of both the technical infrastructure and the economics of established payment instruments such as Credit, Debit and ACH as well as emerging payment schemes.
Strong knowledge of the Product Development process is also important, including working knowledge of Agile development.
Accountable for process from high-level market requirements through to application development.
Strong background in Agile Development processes with a focus on developing good requirements processes.
Specific experience in the EBPP business.
Consumer engagement knowledge (UXD, Mobile, etc..)
