Reporting to the Global Head of ICSS Risk, the hire will be primarily responsible for representing ICSS Risk in the Americas region, being the point person for all ICSS Risk issues and working with our partners in the identification, prioritisation and reporting of top risks within ICSS Americas across the business lines and helping drive issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent ICSS Risk in the Americas region as the Head of ICSS Risk in the Americas
Act as the point person for all ICSS Risk issues and communicate these issues effectively to ICSS Seniors as well as the ICSS Chief Risk Officer and the rest of the ICSS Risk team.
Work closely with all our partners in the identification, prioritisation and reporting of top risks within ICSS Americas across the business lines and help drive issue resolution.
Help drive quality risk reporting in the Americas including providing a legal entity view.
Help embed Risk best practices in the Americas through development of and participation in a strong Risk Governance framework
Own, manage and drive resolution of the ICSS Risk Americas book of work
Provide regional support to ICSS Risk by working with the business on new product initiatives and sitting on the deal pipeline committees to assist in obtaining credit approvals on individual deals.
Build key relationships with business heads in the Americas region and our partners and become embedded in the management organization of ICSS and the region
Involvement in key regulatory initiatives including helping to assess their impact on the business and ensuring the business is compliant.
Help drive a forward looking view of risk in the business.
Desired Skills and Experience
You will have:
Good understanding of the ICSS product suite and/ or strong risk management and regulatory experience preferred
Self starter and strong communicator at a senior level with excellent interpersonal skills
Capable of delivering multiple streams of work in parallel
Ability to process complex problems, evaluate options and propose solutions
Willingness to work through peaks in workload and demonstrate a determined approach
Articulate and capable of writing high quality reports and presentations
You will be:
Resilient and committed with the ability to deliver within tight deadlines and under pressure.
Flexible over working hours and prepared to travel.
