Director Strategic Pricing Operations Intel Santa Clara

Job Description:
What you will do...
Develop, evaluate and implement pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics.
Conduct research and perform competitive pricing analysis.
Monitor ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction.


Partner with Sales/Marketing, Business Development and Finance to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements.
Project impact of pricing changes, individual promotions and rebate programs on revenue.
Create/administer pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.

Qualifications
Enterprise software industry experience with strong knowledge of software and software as a service pricing and licensing strategy and best practices.
Experience with IT hardware pricing (Intel Security sells many integrated appliances which include software bundled with hardware)
Strong Channel experience
Experience with defining pricing and licensing strategy and best practices across multiple routes to market (Intel Security sells through traditional 2 and 3-tier channels, OEM/Embedded device manufacturers, MSPs, and is exploring new routes to market.)
Strategic thinker with global experience
Track record working effectively with all levels (C-level on down) within the organization
Proven ability to instill confidence at the executive level and to drive projects with exec-level visibility
Exceptional organizational and operational skills
Ability to work cross functionally and to lead teams beyond your direct span of control
Ability to manage, prioritize, multi-task in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills
High energy and sense of urgency
Strong attention to detail
Experience tracking and managing budgets and engaging with third party consultants as necessary
Team player with ability to build trust across the entire organization
10+ years of industry experience
