Reporting to the Senior Director, the Sales Director will be responsible for aggressively driving revenue and market share gains in selected key growth course areas and within assigned districts.
Critical Functions
Drive Revenue: Aggressively drive revenue and market share gain in identified growth courses A&P, Introductory Economics, and Introductory Psychology with and through the Learning Technology Representatives (LTRs). Identify high potential, high volume opportunities that will contribute to market share and sales revenue growth. Personally participate in and/or lead key customer meetings and help drive sales to the close.
Strategic Sales Focus: Develop key account, high volume potential strategies. Partner with district leadership teams and product teams to develop and execute strategies to increase sales, digital activations, and customer retention.
Strategic Product Focus: Develop a thorough understanding of each key discipline to include core MHHE strategies/products, competition, market dynamics and customer behavior and use information to inform product teams which will allow MHHE to better position their products. This is accomplished through time on campus and communication with LTRs.
Campus Focus: Spending time on campus with and without the LTRs focusing on key growth areas. Effectively communicate the MHHE value proposition through presentations.
Customer Focus: Build and maintain customer relationships, understand their needs and objectives. Coordinate resource utilization to build customer relationships, drive sell through and retain existing business.
A Successful Candidate Will Have
BS Degree or equivalent years of experience.
five plus years of experience.
Drive for results: demonstrated track record of sales success.
Strong presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to articulate distinct aspects of our products and position them against competitors.
Strong analytical and problem solving ability.
Strong technical aptitude and/or related technical experience.
Industry experience is strongly preferred.
