The Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel is currently seeking a Director of Revenue Management to join the team. The Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel is a beachfront property with dramatic views of Santa Monica Beach and the Pacific Ocean, and is comprised of 360 guest rooms and 20,000 square feet of meeting space.
The Director of Revenue Management will work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing as well as the Regional Director of Revenue Management to create and execute the inventory strategy of the property.
More specifically, responsibilities include
Effectively communicates and executes Loews Hotels Revenue Management philosophies and initiatives as they pertain to their home property
Ensure the proper balance of Transient and Group inventory
Proactively manages inventory for the hotel to maximize rooms revenue using Opera and IDEAS RMS
Execute the 14, 120, and 365 day strategy and forecast
Monitor weekly, monthly, and annual special events
Consult with the Regional Director of Revenue Management on the development of sub segmentation rate seasons and rate tiers
Play an active leadership role in sales meetings and work with sales leaders to maximize business
Maintain strong working relationships with third party distributors
Participates in the preparations of the transient & group rooms budgets - actively involved in the total budget process
Evaluates monthly segmentation production for the hotel and identifies opportunities for RevPAR growth
Prepares month-end critiques and discusses results with a focus on continuous improvement of revenue maximization
Provides data to the hotel teams for the purpose of analyzing and evaluating specific business segments and specific accounts recognizing trends and patterns
Effectively evaluates past and future market demand the hotel by utilizing turndown, property diagnostics, Business Intelligence and market share reports.
Coordinates pricing for special marketing & promotional programs for the hotel
