As a Director of Product Marketing at SentinelOne you have the opportunity to take the front seat in a major market transition - to play a pivotal role as industry works to take the upper hand against cyber threats, and reinstill a sense of confidence in the digital world we now find ourselves in. SentinelOne gained immediate visibility when Forbes released an article on Netflix's plan to abandon antivirus and move to SentinelOne's Endpoint Protection Platform. We are seeking a highly motivated, creative individual who can come in and lead product marketing. This person will be at the center of our brand development, sales enablement, and demand generation efforts. Responsibilities include:
Develop product positioning and messaging based on your deep understanding of customer needs, market trends and the competitive landscape
Build core marketing materials, including customer and field-facing product collateral. These deliverables include, but are not limited to, data sheets, white papers, solution briefs, case studies, product presentations, demos and video tutorials
Drive overall social media strategy with an eye towards establishing a strong online community of users and prospects exploring next-generation endpoint protection. Be a regular contributor within company blog as well as other target outlets including LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube
Collaborate directly with threat researchers to develop new content linked to evolving trends and tactics
Deliver regular webinars on compelling security topics, product overviews. Engage customers and other thought leaders to co-present.
Present at industry tradeshows and regional events.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience with demonstrated success in a product marketing role
Strong knowledge of the security industry, with an emphasis on endpoint security
Ability to evangelize products and communicate their key benefits to internal and external stakeholders, including press and analysts, customers/prospects, channel and technology partners, field sales, executives, and other business
Excellent copywriting/editing, presentation, and verbal communication skills
Proven capability to lead cross-functional teams to complete projects and major initiatives using judgment, experience and leadership skills
Superior ability to build relationships with peers among engineering, product management, marketing and sales
Tackles complex issues in creative ways and uses originality, ingenuity and expertise to create effective and lasting solutions
Strong team player, results oriented, metrics driven and capable of working in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment
