Job Description:
As Country Product Marketing Director, You’ll Be Responsible For

Localization
Localizing (e.g. language) all local marketing materials for global solutions.
Localizing value proposition, messaging and positioning for global solutions.
Localizing sales enablement tools (e.g. language, etc.).
Confirming global go-to-market (GTM) requirements work locally to promote new product launches as well as marketing of existing products. This includes local GTM readiness initiatives such as developing innovative GTM communications locally.
Ensuring local GTM rollout is consistent with global messaging and naming protocols.

Diagnosing and leading achievement of in-country results
Managing local forecasts, funnels, contributing to business planning.
Working collaboratively with local Sales and Marketing to meet product revenue goals.
Defining the triggers to support budget achievement and actively attend the business meetings with Sales, Marketing and Customer Services leaders to drive the desired business performance.
Set KPIs, tracking, testing and optimizing for results in collaboration with Marketing Operations.
Supporting product revenue, ensuring products and services delivered support top-line revenue growth.
Creating and managing detailed tactical go-to-market plans, leveraging internal resources across teams and working with external parties as required.
Creating and executing effective go-to-market strategies in country that are customer focused, working in partnership with the global product marketing organization.
Market and customer insight
Analysing competition in the country and determining Sage’s relative positioning according to their products.
Analyse local customer needs via crowd sourcing methods and tools, working closely with Global Director of Product Strategy.
Managing budget and variances for own area through consideration of various country performance.
Primary stakeholder management (e.g., CBC or local S&M teams)
Launch marketing, sales enablement, and services strategy as well as localising sales and launch tools, in order to optimize sales efficiency.
Developing effective local marketing tactics by identifying appropriate target markets and tracking market trends related to his product or industry.
Nurturing local promotions for our solutions.
Managing local media plans and identifying additional local campaign needs.
Local leadership, communication and coordination
Acting as an agent of change able to inspire and influence across multiple organization levels, functional and regional units.
Acting as a local ambassador of Sage for your product or industry with journalists and business partners.
Working with local internal communications plans to ensure all teams are up-to-date on upcoming product launches and equipped with all necessary talking points.
Working with local Product Marketing, Partner Marketing Product Management and Partner Management to ensure that his/her Global Product well-targeted, launched, marketed and sold as part of the local country’s overall product portfolio.
Contributes to our global marketing charter –to be the most successful market team on the planet by being obsessed with customers and creativity.
Contributes to exceptional Sage content and thought leadership

In addition, take responsibility for missions in the global product marketing team
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience and five year of proven leadership responsibility.
Experience in product marketing (preferably in software, services industry).
Strong knowledge of the Accounting market which includes the business management needs and challenges faced by customers, competitors in the space.
Experienced in product marketing methodologies combined with effectively working with Product Management and Development teams that adhere to the agile development process.
Strong track record in operating at both a strategic and operational level with the ability to effectively work with team to create the long-term product/services strategy and deliver it.
Proven ability to deliver ensuring implementation plans are achievable while inspiring those within the Marketing, Sales and Customer Service organisation to maximize their contributions.
Excellent writing and presentation skills.
Superior collaboration skills.
Proficient in country language as well as English (both written and verbal).
B2B experience.
Go-to-Market planning and execution experience.
