WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

In Your Role As a Plant Director At Kashi, You Will Be Part Of Our Success By
Ensuring adherence to the quality and food safety commitments of the manufacturing operation
Achieving or exceeding budgeted operations financial, productivity and schedule attainment goals
Leading the organization in the ongoing process of Continuous Improvement
Ensuring excellence in management of human resources/labor relations
Working across organizational boundaries and break down internal barriers to achieve the best possible results for the Company, along with demonstrating a vigilant commitment to ethics and our Company reputation
Committing to provide on-going leadership for plant health and safety programs
Responsibly representing the Company in local, industry, community and regulatory affairs with the Company’s policies and culture
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

Requirements

As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in manufacturing, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:

Required:
High School Diploma/GED with substantial manufacturing/operations/leadership experience
Effective Communication skills both verbal and written
Strategic Planning skills
Financial and business management skills
Ability to deal with multiple, high-priority issues and excel under stressful conditions
Experience in Continuous Improvement and/or Lean Manufacturing

Preferred
Bachelor's/Master’s Degree
Experience in a food related industry
