Finance Director Ogilvy Public Relations OgilvyWest is seeking an experienced Finance Director, based in San Francisco, to provide strategic counsel and support to the Regional CEO and Managing Directors in the execution of overall accounting, budgeting and financial reporting procedures. The position will report directly to the Regional CEO and to the North America CFO. Ogilvy is one of the largest marketing communications companies in the world.

Primary Responsibilities: • Preparation of annual, quarterly and monthly budgets and forecasts • Provide strategic counsel and guidance to leadership and account teams with respect to operational strategy and client profitability • Initiate, review and negotiate client fees, billing rates and client agreements and contracts • Manage all month-end close activities, including but not limited to, account reconciliations, revenue recognition, P&L variation analysis (actual vs. budget) and balance sheet reviews • Recommend, implement and measure performance against benchmarks for the organizations’ financial and operating performance • Work with account teams to ensure all invoices are accurate and sent to clients on-time • Work with account teams to ensure collections of receivables

• Maintain, review and improve internal control environments related to transactional processes • Ensure compliance with corporate policies • Participate and manage the integration into a centralized back office • Training of office and staff on all financial matters and processes • Manage audits, including internal, external, and Sarbanes-Oxley audits Measures of Performance: • Overall accuracy of accounting records and financial reports • Overall accuracy of budgeting and forecasting • Ability to provide strategic counsel and guidance on operational and financial matters • Adequacy of internal controls Required Experience & Skills: • Minimum of 10+ years business experience • Experience with Sarbanes Oxley reporting required • CPA preferred • Strong Microsoft Excel skills a must • Degree in Accounting or Finance • Commitment to the requirements of quality, reliable financial reporting • Self-motivated, conscientious, detail oriented • Ability to collaborate with and advise senior management team • Solid presentation skills and ability to document information clearly and concisely to both internal and external audience • Valued work ethic and ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines and pressure • Ability to maintain effective and respected work relationships with management and employees • Ability to relate and coach employees at all levels of the organization • Possesses excellent communication skills and ability to convey ideas and concepts concisely • Ability to make independent judgment and also possess ability to see big picture perspective • Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems • Ability to plan, lead, delegate, and execute
